Membership Information

Overview

Any organization that owns, operates, or controls at least 50 circuit miles of integrated (network) transmission facilities at 100 kV or above, or operates a “24/7″ control center with NERC-certified operators, or has an open access transmission tariff or equivalent on file with a regulatory authority, may join the NATF.

Application Steps

Applying for the NATF membership includes three steps:

  1. Submitting the Membership Application.
  2. Submitting the NATF Policies Acknowledgement.
  3. Assigning participants to the NATF groups.

The NATF staff will send you an invoice for your initiation fee and annual dues following the Board’s approval of your application. See the Cost Structure page for more information.
